Hey! So I love getting to know everyone I'm rping with, and I've already seen so many lovely pony pictures in the cbox... so I figured I'd start an introduction thread!

This is me looking nerdy with my amazing new glasses! My name is Taylor, I'm 21 years old and live in Austin, Texas. I'm studying sociology and business at the University of Texas at Austin and usually work as a file clerk at a law firm, but I'm taking a glorious summer off this year!

As far as horses are concerned, I'll picspam you with some of my past babies in a minute. I've been riding since I was 8, always hunter/jumpers. I've owned two horses and a pony, but not for years and years, and even when I did show it wasn't often. I've been a working student then assistant trainer for most of my equestrian career, spent a semester at VIC, and then came back to school at UTand took a break. Just about a month ago I started getting back into riding and it feels amazing!

And finally, a few of my favorite things:

hi everyone! madee here. i think this thread was a brilliant idea, so i decided i'd post here too! i'm seventeen years old and i live in ontario, canada with my lovely parents, dog, and cat. my brother's here sometimes, but he's almost 20 so we hardly notice when he's around... haha!

my horse is literally my life. i live and breathe horses, and if i'm not home, it's pretty certain i'm at the barn chillin with my dude. I own a 14 year old, 17hh trakhener X thoroughbred gelding named red, who is my absolute pride and joy (trust me, i have 400 million pictures to prove it!) he's a prelim event horse, but we're currently chipping our way through pretraining and training levels. i've been riding ten years, and did hunters for nine of the ten... SO glad i made the switch to eventing and found my lovely horse! Red has been with me since december, and will be with me for the rest of his life. i absolutely love him.

dreams and aspirations? i'm currently in intensive training to be tapored and conditioned into a top event rider. with the progress i've made in just seven months of training, i hope to be doing prelim by next year. my coach has taken riders to olympic levels before, so i have no doubt in my mind i can make it there if i remain persistant. any questions? JUST ASK!

i'm friendly and love to talk about you and your riding as well as mine! just start up a conversation and i'll be happy to chat for hours on end about all things equine... i swear!

hello, hello, helloooo! i'm marshall (though i prefer marsh). i'm sixteen years old and live in the small town of aledo, texas. i grew up on a farm of over 120 broodmares and 30 athletes for the fine sport of racing. i'm a strong christian, even if i don't act like it. i'm quite spontaneous and have a bit of a stutter when i talk. i live on thirty acres of glorious - as far as texas gets - texas land with my grandparents, bulldogs and ponies. i'm planning on attending texas tech's equine program for equine chiropractics. i'd really love to rehabilitate ottbs and make stars out of them, whether in the show ring or in a little girl's pasture.

i own two 2003 mares. one, miss penny (reg. to usef as fox on the run), is my soul sister. i've ridden her since i was ten and she was two. my grandparents got a ton of shit for getting a very green rider a very green filly, but penny and i hit it off instantly. she is a 16hh appendix quarter horse mare by lucky valentino and out of play power (by more horsepower). we used to compete in training level eventing, but a sudden turn of events (and lack of trainer) has lead us to start competing in the hunter/jumper circuit. i've been training myself, and hopefully penny and i will be able to jump level five this fall when we go out to show. i could go on for ages about my gorgeous red mare. she's been with me all her life, and that's not changing a bit.

flash is my special baby. she's a 15.1hh fleabitten grey ottb mare that i acquired in april. she's registered to jockey club as my gray flash (by devious course, out of my gray dancer [by orbit dancer]). she's been off the track for three-four years. i met her for the first time on march 28, 2011 and trailered her home on april 1. i acquired her through an old barn friend that could not handle her. for a free horse, she is an absolute doll! she follows me everywhere and lives for the attention i shower her with. her only real vice is that she bolts when mounting, but that's not anything i can't work on her with. she's a doll under saddle; unfortunately, i will not be showing on her at all. she's going to be robinson farm v2.0's first broodmare.

I go by the name Cole, as you probably know already from the cbox. I am a thirteen year old girl hailing from somewhere in Ontario, Canada. My hobbies include reading, writing, listening to music, watching crime dramas on television, and being on my computer. I have two dogs and two rabbits, and I love them to death. I am a strong Christian, and will stand up for my beliefs. As you can probably tell, I'm a hugeeee horse lover! From ever since I can remember, I've loved horses. When I was little, my dad would always read me a children's book about two- you guessed it- horses. Little Black, a pony. Yup, that was the name of the book. I still have it to this day, bound in duct tape and covered in crayon from when I tried to add some color to Little Black's life... literally. My family lives in a small city, and we're not particularly wealthy. In fact, we're lucky if my dad's able to take a week off work to go camping. Sadly, this means that I don't own a horse. I took riding lessons for a few years (I have a good friend that owns the most gorgeous horses ever), but my parents are cancelling those due to recent conflict with my riding instructor's husband... a.k.a, they don't want me near him. I do, however, know the basics of western riding including speeding up, slowing down, steering, neck reining, and even ducking when your horse rides under a tree branch (I learned that one the hard way). I will always be a western rider, so I guess it's kind of weird to be on a roleplay that focuses on eventing, which is english riding. You're probably tired of hearing me ramble, so I'll finish off by telling you that I'm happy to be here, and feel free to drop me a line! I don't bite... often. Slide over to the left and that's my glorious face as of 2009 x3 My name is Arlene but that's as far as my IC character goes in truth :3 I'm 19 years old, from Albuquerque, NM, soon to be in the United States Marine Corps and I'm experienced in 4-H and western riding. I've not ridden in about seven-eight years, since I did have a bad accident, however, I haven't had the opportunity to ride either, granted my parents and my situation.

I have one brother, who is my best friend in the entire world; he'll be turning 24 this year and our birthdays are four years and 25 days apart <3

I do a lot of animal care and pet-sitting around my neighborhood. I guess you could say I have a marvelous total of six dogs, three cats, one bearded dragon, two snakes, one hamster and of course, myself!

I'm allergic to hotdogs ._. and I'm claustrophobic in the dark and there are people around. Weird I know ._. gonna have to deal with it haha.

I've been roleplaying for about...oh...five years I think and started out on canine and equine roleplays. My characters range from normal to psychotic and I can play either gender rather well.

I only play Celia on here. I'm 19 years old and from Pennsylvania.
I've been riding horses for 7 years now and currently have two,
Freedom and Shy who are registered QH mares. Freedom is 19
and Shy is 13. I show 4-H and show through their pleasure classes.
Speed has never been my thing. I do western and english (hunter under
saddle only right now for english).

Beyond the horse stuff, roleplaying and photomanipulating are a big
thing of mine. I've been doing both for almost 7 years now. I
currently have Adobe Photoshop CS5 and am going to college to
major in Media Arts with a double concentration in Graphic Design and

Hey guys! I'm a thirteen-year-old (to be fourteen in fourteen days!) living in Indiana, USA, aka Cornland. I go by Poppy online. The things I love most are horses, my best friends, and my cello, in that order. Don't tell my friends that, though. XD I'm Chinese, and although I was born in the United States and have lived here all my life, I'm very proud of my heritage. I'm considered a "nerd," which I take as a compliment, and I take all the Honors and AP courses available. I also enjoy swimming and drawing, and I own Chester, the most adorable rabbit in the whole world.
